For 30 years, Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) has served the design community with the finest campus amenities and showrooms in the industry attracting world-class designers, architects, decorators, dealers and their clients.

At nearly 800,000 square feet, DCOTA is the largest design campus of its kind. High design is showcased within over 100 premier showroom locations, catering to any home, yacht or office project. Fine indoor and outdoor furniture, fabrics, flooring, lighting, kitchen, bath, antiques, accessories, appliances, window treatments, decorative hardware, paint and surfacing are just some of the resources found within the center.

DCOTA is part of the Cohen Design Center quartet with sister locations in Manhattan (D & D Building) in West Hollywood, California (Pacific Design Center), and in Houston, Texas (Decorative Center Houston).

Visitor Information

DCOTA is easily accessible by land or air. Located in the very heart of South Florida, DCOTA is immediately south of Fort Lauderdale International Airport where Griffin Road meets I-95 in Dania Beach. It is 17 minutes south of Boca Raton in Palm Beach County, 45 minutes south of the city of Palm Beach, 20 minutes from north of Miami, and 90 minutes east of Naples by car.

DCOTA is the closest design center in America to an international airport in both distances (less than one and one half miles from the terminal) and in time (less that five minutes from the terminal) via the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel shuttle.

DCOTA showrooms are open to-the-trade, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am–5:00 pm


Holiday Closings

Design Center of the Americas will be closed in observance of the holidays listed below. If you wish to visit on a specific date, please contact individual showrooms to ensure that they are open.
