Everything by Design: A Recap of Spring Market 2025 at DCOTA
Posted on 08/11/25

This March, DCOTA welcomed hundreds of industry professionals, creatives, and design enthusiasts to its highly anticipated Spring Market 2025 — a day dedicated to celebrating innovation, artistry, and the power of thoughtful design. With the theme Everything by Design, this year’s event invited attendees to explore the evolving landscape of interiors through curated experiences, thought leadership, and hands-on inspiration.

A Morning of Connection + Inspiration
The day kicked off with Design, Coffee & Connections hosted by ASID, setting the tone with community, conversation, and caffeine. Guests then enjoyed Luxury Marketplace & Mimosas at Scavolini, where designers mingled with celebrated artists like Nicolle Cure and Libertad Rodriguez and witnessed immersive activations including a live terrarium demo and gourmet dessert showcase.

Keynote Spotlights
The morning keynote featured an elegant and insightful conversation with India Hicks, moderated by Daphne Nikolopoulos of Florida Design. Hicks shared stories and design inspiration from around the globe, offering a glimpse into the heart of her signature aesthetic.

In the afternoon, the spotlight shifted to a powerhouse panel, The Intricacy of Design Across Diversified Industries, moderated by Stephanie Toothaker and featuring local visionaries including Steven Gurowitz, Bob Swindell, Alan Hooper, and Kobi Karp. This dynamic dialogue explored the intersection of business, architecture, and future-facing design.

Meaningful Midday Moments
Throughout the day, showrooms came alive with exclusive events. A Romance with Design at Gloster offered a book signing and Q&A with Jennifer Garrigues and Beth Buckley, while John Rosselli & Associates hosted Meet the Makers, highlighting bespoke upholstery and artisan craftsmanship. Meanwhile, Sherwin-Williams’ CEU, Singing the Blues, delved into the psychological power of color. The afternoon concluded with Beyond the Bath to the Entire Home at Sherle Wagner International, where attendees explored the brand’s elegant hardware collections and heard from Executive Global Director Melanie Turner on creating timeless luxury throughout the home.

Spring Market 2025 was a vibrant reminder that design doesn’t just follow trends—it leads them. DCOTA is proud to host events that fuel inspiration, foster connection, and support the creators shaping what’s next.
